Lab-to-market accelerator [P2.S2.P3]
AIM: Support high-potential innovative and entrepreneurial ideas through effective and functional prototyping before early-stage incubation. This activity includes funding tools for rapid prototyping, and testing and support for early intellectual property protection procedures. This project will create synergies with stage 5.1 (Liaison between engineering and innovation centers) in the generation of projects for early-stage incubation.
OBJECTIVES:
- Provide supplementary funding to aid the development of functional prototypes (or pilot models, either physical, conceptual or mathematical) within the scope of the four key research initiatives
- Provide a global support program for early intellectual property protection procedures
- Articulate a strong i+e mentorship program in conjunction with Pillar 3
- Lower all regulation barriers to the path to entrepreneurship in order to motivate more students and researchers to do so
