Shared laboratory, workshop, and co-work spaces with industry/public sector agents [P5.S1.P4]

AIM: Generate instances and physical spaces of collaborative work in technological i+e with key local and foreign industries as part of the 2030 initiative.

OBJECTIVES:
- Develop a collaborative space between industry and applied research (UC-X) in microelectronics, sensors, control, and engineering design (PUC)
- Manage the new fab-lab at UC and develop a plan for industry/university interaction (PUC)
- Develop a plan to offer high-tech laboratory capacities to industry with suitable space and equipment for performing global impact research (PUC-UTFSM)
- Develop a capacity to identify industrial needs and connects that to the technological expertise available in the Consortium (PUC-UTFSM)
- Build win-win alliances with other co-work spaces available in Chile to identify entrepreneurial opportunities (PUC/UTFSM)
- Leverage on UTFSM organisms links with companies to establish its cross-board (UTFSM)
- To have at least one company working within UTFSM campuses by the first year (UTFSM)
