Start-up a new division for industry liaison [P5.S3.P1]

AIM: Create an Industry Liaison Office (ILO) capable of identifying necessities for contract research and promote technology transfer from scholars to priority local industries, but also to international technological industries. This office will manage long-term relationships with these industries in order to identify, capture, and solve innovative technology-based challenges, using innovation and internal capabilities of the Consortium.

OBJECTIVES:
- Start a new office to manage industry-university liaisons, hiring of professional staff that will conduct outreach activities with Industry
- Design and implement a monitoring system with the capacities available to meet innovative requirements from Industry
- Attract technological brokers to serve as links with local industries, and make a proactive scouting of their requirements and challenges and to match those with local Consortium capacities
- Design and implement a network management system that can optimally administer relations with people, industries, and specific companies
- Deliver a series of research contracts with industry, focused in innovative projects that respond to the needs of Industry
- Contribute to a culture of i+e by divulgating innovation and entrepreneurial results
- Support 3 rapid implementation pilot projects to accelerate the growth rate of the ILO experience
